Yes, the Reminders app is app-solutely perfect for making an ingredients list for a recipe!
Maybe it's just me, but I find myself at the grocery store all the time and can't remember which ingredients I need for a specific recipe. Really, this happens much more often than I want to admit.
Now, I can have those favorite recipes with me at all times! Just have to find all the recipes and then find the time to type them into the Reminders app and I'll be all set!
That recipe list for Onion Soup Mix came from Good Cheap Eats and I can't wait to try it in my next meat loaf!
I don't have that app but I think I may need it because I always forget things at the grocery store. Always.

DeleteIt is called "Einkaufsliste Pro Edition". It is in German but I guess you could use it, too. It is not very difficult to use. You can make different shopping lists (e.g. one for groceries, one for the drugstore, one for the pharmacy.. you get the idea. You decide what you need). Then you can make categories like dairy products, fruit and vegetables, ... and then you note down the exact product you need like milk, salad, ... You can also add the price for the respective item, so you know what it is going to cost you at the checkout. If you tick something off your list it disappears but you can add it back very easily if you need it again in the future. Oh, and you can syncronise it with dropbox, so your husband will know that you already bought sugar and he does not need to do it when he goes to the supermarket in the evening after work for example.
DeleteI love it, it is so much more convenient than paper and a pen. If you want an English one I am sure there are plenty other apps working similarly.
