Messy Summer Fun Activities

We've been really lucky to have mild temps lately and the kids have been able to enjoy a lot of outdoor time.  When the heat sets in for summer, we'll have to spend most of our time indoors.  I've been trying to find fun and messy ideas to occupy the kids when the summer boredom hits.

So far, we've played in shaving cream and made Cloud Dough, and I have been scouring Pinterest for more ideas. 

Though messy, shaving cream never disappoints.  If you have a spatula, clean up is pretty easy, too.  I wasn't very impressed with the Cloud Dough.  It really just felt like flour to me.  Maybe I should have added more baby oil? 

I can't wait to try this Elephant Toothpaste.  And JT has asked to make a volcano.  What did we ever do before Pinterest?
