Scissors, Autographs, and Lego Mania
Patty has been enjoying her weekly Occupational Therapy and one of her "homework" activities is to use scissors. To say that scissors in the hands of four and five year old makes me nervous is such an understatement! On our very first day of cutting practice, JT snipped a little of Patty's hair and then did a little trimming to his own. Thankfully, it wasn't noticeable!
I was a little surprised to find that Patty had autographed our bedroom door with a red marker. More than anything I was extremely proud that she had written her name and her age. I wasn't as happy to find the scribbles in the kitchen, though. Oh, well. Think it might be time for a new paint color anyway! Don't tell Casey!
Oh, and we are still dealing with the lego take-over. I think you can call it a hostile take-over. You better believe I'm getting my money's worth out of that handy dollar dust pan. I just can't get a handle on the lego problem. I am seriously open to suggestions!

Did you know there is a Lego store in Opry Mills Mall in Nashville? We were there a few weeks ago. Also went to The Parthenon. Would make a great day trip for you guys. Hope you all are doing well.
ReplyDeleteMy brother-in-law and his wife had told us abou the lego store, so I put Opry Mills on my list of places to avoid! We are doing well, thanks! Had a little too much excitement out this way yesterday afternoone, I'll have to blog about it when I can find more time!
