A Good Day for Blog-keeping

Since there is no school today, I'm spending my morning doing a little housekeeping on the blog.  It was either that or go back to bed.  And since both kids are up, I'm thinking there is no way I'm going back to bed!

So, what is blog-keeping?  Well, I really have no idea.  But, whatever it is, it's gotta be better than housekeeping.

Actually, I've been wrestling with some of the topics I've blogged about lately.  When I created this blog, I wanted it to be a place to share our family's journey, not a place consumed by my opinions.  And I didn't want someone to find the way to Meet the Cottons and be frightened away by my non-family topics, you know?  Let's face it, gun control and vigilante justice are not exactly family friendly topics. 

So, I took some time in the wee hours of the morning to create a new blog just for the topics I feel very opinionated about.  You can check it out at Take It or Leave It.  The web address is actually www.takeitorleaveit96.blogspot.com  If you're curious, 96 is the year I graduated high school.

If you read a post here on Meet the Cottons, you can still access it.  But, I have moved the content of several posts and you'll have to follow the link to Take It or Leave It to access that content.  The comments were the only thing I wasn't able to move, so I copied and pasted them giving the original source credit by name.  Honestly, I'm just thankful for this tutorial on how to move the post content from one blog to another!
