Goodbye, Dalton
I was saddened to read that Dalton lost his battle with Cystic Fibrosis last Saturday. It's still unknown if he was able to set a new record for Christmas cards received, according to the ABC News announcement I read yesterday. My hope is that, in time, his family will apply for the record in his memory. It's pretty awesome what people can do when they join together on behalf of something they care about, isn't it?

It really is pretty wonderful what people can do when they put their minds to it. And it makes me want to offer more support for families that need it. I try to send gifts and help out when something I read about tugs on my heartstrings, but the fact is that there are SO many families that could probably use a hug...it's overwhelming sometimes. I do love when I hear stories going viral and people pull together. That's really what this beautiful crazy life is all about.
