One day last week after doing her homework, I said, "Thank you for doing your homework."
Without missing a beat, Patty replied, "And thank you for helping me."
Then, yesterday at speech therapy, Ms. Melanie asked Patty what she did at school.
Patty said, "We used the speaking stone."
"What do you do with the speaking stone?" asked Ms. Melanie.
"We pass out," Patty informed her.
Totally funny!
