So, day three just started kind of rough. Patty was upset, in tears from the moment she woke up this morning. Geez, there's no worse way to begin your day. Oh how I hope these first few days pass quickly! The beginning of last year was a tough transition, too, and it passed, so I know there is light at the end of the tunnel. Plus, tomorrow is Saturday so I can have at least two peaceful days, right?
In other, better news, I just found out there is another special needs bus that services our area! Hooray! She'll be able to get home in less than thirty minutes. Thank goodness those ladies at school know which buses are coming and going! Now Patty will be able to experience her first real school bus ride! I can't wait to share pictures of that milestone! Did you notice all those exclamation points?
I'm looking forward to all the wonderful things this year holds for Patty. Mostly, I'm looking forward to picking her up today in the hopes that she's had another mostly good day! Then, I can stop feeling like the worst mommy in the world!
Update to the Update: Great to report that Patty had a good day! Now if we can just get the drop off routine worked out....
