Well, all of the notes didn't "restore" with the reboot of my iPhone. I just briefly opened the notes thingy, saw there were entries, and went about inspecting all of the other areas of the renewed version of my phone. Sadly, only the "backed up" entries survived which means all of the recent notes are gone. So much for that book list I had been laboring to create over the last year or so!
The ringtones did make it through the restore, though. I still have ringtones for all my favorite people and no contact info to attach it to! How sad is that? Dear Santa, I would like a new address book for Christmas.
On a happier note, the app that I so desperately wanted to download has been a super duper hit with the kiddos. In fact, they were fighting over who got to play it. At bedtime last night. I finally had to just take the phone away from them. This may prove to be a great "learn to share" experience for all of us.
And I have most definitely learned my lesson: there is nothing better than a paper calendar and address book!
Anyone know if your calendar backups with this iCloud thingy?
