So, I left my phone plugged into the computer all day today getting a much needed upgrade. When it was finally finished, or so I thought, I tried purchasing an app only to get the same error message! Apple support says the upgrade is available in iTunes, but I don't know how to get it from iTunes to the iPhone!
So, I decided to just purchase the app via iTunes on the computer and hope that it would miraculously download it to the phone, too. Well, I don't know what happened, but all heck has broken loose with my phone! I ended up having to do a restore which meant I lost ALL of my contacts and ALL of my calendar info. Somehow the notes managed to get restored, though. Plus, all of the pictures, ringtones, and songs/videos are gone. I had a personalized ringtone for almost every contact in my phone! Of course, there are NO contacts now... I am so sad!
Bottom line, the new app was not worth it! It was NOT worth it at all!
