Just Throw Your Trash Away Already!

Wow.  It has been a full day around here and it's barely noon!  Before we headed to school this morning I had already battled ants in the kitchen, hosted a burial at sea (RIP: Ola), printed coupons and updated my shopping list, and emptied and re-loaded the dishwasher.

Then after dropping Patty at school, JT and I headed to Wally World where I realized I'd left my list at home.  Go figure.  Thankfully, the Brazil nuts must be improving my memory, because I got home with several things from the list!  Now, that is no small feat for me in my advanced age!

Anyhoo, all of that has nothing to do with my post title or the picture of the flattened can.  Honorable mention to the person who can identify what kind of can that is!  But, seriously, folks.  If there is nothing else in this lifetime that I teach my kids, I hope I can instill in them the importance of throwing your trash into a trash can.  There is almost always a trash can nearby; I don't care where you are, there's a trash can.  There's just no good reason to toss your trash into the parking lot.  Be like me, let your floor boards be the trash can until you get sick of wading through it and decide to clean it out!  Oh, and don't get me started on spitting out your chewing gum anywhere but a trash can!
